Turquoise seems to be the pick from the colour palette, for spring summer 2010, as predicted by Pantone, USA, reports say. It was the hue that US first lady Michelle Obama wore in her dress at the White House Christmas decorations on December 2, 2009, reports say. The turquoise lure was even witnessed at Ranna Gill's fashion show as part of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW). %% The WIFW also saw designer Nimirta Lalwani base her collection of SS'10 on a quote from Christian Dior stating 'Tones of grey, turquoise and pink will prevail'. %% Jewellery in turquoise was seen at the SS'10. Most designers of haute couture and jewellery believe that the turquoise hue blends well with other colours, which ultimately helps push the creative envelope.
