Mirari launches spring collection

The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) India is planning to offer its Accredited Jewelry Professional (A.J.P.) diploma course in Jaipur, during February 1–5, 2009, in association with the Indian Institute of Gems and Jewellery, Jaipur (IIGJ). %% Nirupa Bhatt, managing director, GIA India/Mideast Region, said, “Our vision is to make GIA’s Diamond and Coloured Stone classes available to important gemstone cutting and trading centres such as Jaipur. GIA India plans to reach across 15 cities in the country in 2010.” %% The A.J.P. diploma programme aims at empowering the entire sales team, including supervisors, with a curriculum including in-depth study of diamonds, coloured stones and jewellery and to equip jewellers understand critical product knowledge that is expected by customers. The A.J.P. course also delves into jewellery sales process, providing effective sales techniques. %% The course is scheduled to be held at the Hotel Park Prime in Jaipur.
