Surat’s diamond traders are looking at strengthening their sales with a focus on domestic demand for diamond studded jewellery, as reported in a leading media. The Indian domestic market is signaling a growth in diamond-studded jewellery, with diamond companies in the country, taking on to aggressive marketing strategies to increase sales, reports add. %% Encouraged by this trend, diamond polishing units in Surat plan to follow suit. As per reports, although plain gold jewellery is ever popular in the country, seven out of every 10 customers are opting for diamond studded jewellery in the current market scenario.
