The second edition of the Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair has been scheduled between January 30 to February 2, 2011, as announced by the Antwerp Diamond Bourse (Beurs voor Diamanthandel). With the debut of the fair having concluded on a successful note, and exhibitors and buyers agreeing it to be an unmitigated success, the event’s organizers have thought of taking it ahead to its second edition and beyond. %% Bourse president Artur Beller said, "Even before the first fair ended, it was clear, to both the exhibitors as well as to the bourse membership at large, that this fair has the potential of becoming one of the anchor events on the diamond business' annual calendar. The concept, the timing, the layout and the design, as well as the execution of the event, they all proved to be spot on." %% The event is a by-invitation fair. For its second edition, the bourse has planned on inviting select group of European diamond buyers, in particular jewellery manufacturers, designers and leading jewellery retailers, who can gain the exclusive opportunity to interact with leading diamond traders in Antwerp and gain access to an unparalleled selection of diamonds. %% "We're already in the process of putting an exclusive list of invitees together," Beller said. "And with the support of the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC) Trade, as well as that of governmental and other trade bodies, I am confident the 2011 edition of the Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair will be a great success."
