The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) has published its ‘Four Cs of Diamond Quality’ brochure in three additional languages including French, German and Vietnamese. The literature has previously been available in English, Spanish, Italian, Thai, Korean, Japanese, traditional (or formal) Chinese, simplified Chinese, Hindi and Gujarati. %% The brochure content is focused at educating consumers on how diamonds are evaluated and the main factors used to describe diamond quality. It also informs about the GIA grading scales for colour, clarity and cut. The GIA intends to help consumers across all regions make informed diamond jewellery purchases.
