There are high hopes pinned on the forthcoming JA New York Summer 2010 slated between July 25th – 28th at the Jacob K. Javits center. The JA New York Winter Show held this year in March resulted in a 22 percent increase in buyer attendance and the July edition is expected to host over 900 companies, some new designers and manufacturers. “With the success of the Winter Show, we are dedicated to making the Summer Show 2010 an even more amazing experience for all exhibitors and attendees with better than ever programmes, seminars, show features, and networking opportunities” explains Drew Lawsky, Group Show Director for JA New York. %% There are new segments added to the JA New York Summer 2010. There is the New Designer Gallery – a platform for the freshest new talent in the industry debuting 10 new designers, new designLAB, which has already sold out with 28 participating designers and new interactive onsite opportunities. Also, Jewelers of America and America’s Best Jewelers will host educational and interactive networking seminar programmes. %% For the 33rd consecutive year, JA New York will announce the winner of the Mort Abelson New Designer of the Year Award and will feature diverse International Pavilions including Italy, Hong Kong, Korea, Brazil, Thailand, Taiwan, and Indonesia. There are added attractions like Supplier Pavilion, Inner Circle, Boutique Gallery, Antique & Jewelry Estate, AGTA Stone Pavilion, Designer Showcase, Concours du Temps Watch Pavilion, Diamond Dealers Club, Couture Pavilion. The participants are optimistic that with the turnaround in the economy, the JA New York Summer Show will be a success.
