Q1 saw a 23% rise for India's gold jewellery exports

The rise is being attributed to price decline and opening up of US and UK markets

Willy Rotti has been elected as the president of the Diamantclub van Antwerpen, at the conclusion of the annual bourse elections held last week. Philippe Barsamian is elected as the vice president; while Thierry Polakiewicz and Michaël Suchowolski as the managing directors. René Benycar, Sylvio Cohen y Escaloni, Daniel Fraenkel, Emmanuel Frisch, Willy Henneuse, Koen Smets, Jean-Jacques Steigrad, Rony Unterman, Jean van Gestel and Rahul Zaveri are elected as the committee members.
