The vuvuzela, an African trumpet popularised more so as one of the celebratory symbols at the FIFA World Cup 2010, has been transformed into a luxury momento with gold and diamonds by an Austrian goldsmith. The article was bought by a Russian for €17,000, as a gift for his South African business partner to mark the World Cup final on July 11. %% Besides being an artifact in itself, this piece also functions like the regular plastic-made vuvuzela seen at the football stadium.
