Swarovski crystals have adorned the décor and costumes of Hollywood flick - ‘Black Swan’, communicating the theme and storyline of the movie. The movie is written on a ballet dancer’s search for ultimate perfection. The costume designers have created the ‘Swan lake’ ballet costumes with around 250,000 crystals, weighing 40kgs, to give a sense of drama to the fundamental ballet scenes. The crystals are worked with on the Black Swan and White Swan costumes and the diaphanous white gown worn by actress Natalie Portman. %% The Black Swan crown is hand crafted in burnt copper featuring Swarovski crystals embedded in the metalwork. Six Swarovski chandeliers from the existing Schonbek collection were used on the sets.
