Titan Industries – a company with interests in jewellery, eyewear and watch manufacturing, has received the Indian government approval to directly import gold, reports say.%% The company operates its jewellery unit under the brand names Tanishq and Goldplus.%% Reports further add that the government has noted that it would permit anybody (private party) who is an actual user, to directly import gold, but not those who import only for trading purpose’.%%
