Polished diamond suppliers in September Hong Kong fair reported average sales amid low response from Asian buyers, including Chinese. %% This is not a positive news for the diamond industry as the demand for the polished diamonds was very much dependent on the success of Hong Kong show. %% Diamond World got a mixed response by the exhibitors, for few it was very slow, and for few it did well as per expectation and going to get better in coming months. %% Second day at Asia World Expo (AWE) had the highest turnout of buyers in compare to other days. Diamonds in lower color and quality did well, where as top color diamonds (D-E-F colors) were really slow. Jewellery at the Convention Exhibition Centre (CEC) had received luke-warm response. Country pavilion received low traffic, where as HK and China pavilion got much better traffic and business. Grand Hall saw very low traffic and mostly window shoppers. %%
