First ever India-China Seller Meet for Colored stones commenced today and will continue till April 10, 2013 at Jaipur. The opening ceremony was held at Hotel Lalit, on the evening of April 7. During this Meet 17 buyers from China are introduced to 15 Indian manufacturers of colored stones. Chinese companies’ have attended this meet with a view to explore new opportunities and establish direct links with their Indian counter parts.%% In the opening ceremony Rajiv Jain, Regional Chairman, GJEPC said that China, which is one of the largest markets in Asia besides India, is a very strategic market for the Indian Gems and Jewellery industry, considering two countries ' combined trade has potential to surpass the US in the coming years and go on to be the largest jewellery consuming and producing markets on this side of the globe.%%
