Middle East targets third place in loose diamonds

After having lost out to India, the Middle East is now eyeing to be among the top three regions in sales of loose diamonds. Middle East is currently placed in the fourth position after US, Japan and India.

Britain’s Royal Mint unveiled two new gold and silver £5 coins to commemorate the 60th wedding anniversary of the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh. %% The two coins are struck in 22k gold and .925 sterling silver, and have been priced at £775.00 and £39.50 each, respectively. %% The obverse side of the coin features a combined portrait of the royal couple, while the reverse features a design inspired by a stained glass north rose window at Westminster Abbey, where they married. %% The edge inscription of ‘My strength and stay’ was taken from the Queen’s golden wedding anniversary speech in which she paid tribute to her husband.
