Sarin Technologies, a world leading developer of technological solutions for the diamond industry, will be displa ying three devices aimed at enhancing consumer confidence at its booth at the 2007 JCK Show—Las Vegas, June 1-5. The easy-to-operate, desktop systems provide members of the trade and jewelry consumers with near-immediate confirmation of the cut quality and color grades of diamonds, as well as providing a simple means of laser inscribing information on the girdle of diamonds.%%Sarin will be exhibiting its products in booth No. 61604 in the Marco Polo Ballroom, Level 1, at the JCK Show. The consumer confidence-re lated products will be availa ble at special show prices.%%The machines include DiaScan™ S+, Sarin's portable diamond cut quality and grading machine enabling today's jewelry retailer to provide in-store and on-the-counter tools for verifying diamond cut quality using the leading gem labs' la test grading standards; the DC3000™, a diamond colorimeter for color grading loose and mounted diamonds; and the DiaScribe™ inscription package, a la ser inscription tool that meets security, branding, and personalization needs by giving the user the ability to inscribe almost any text or logo on the girdle of the stone.%%"We know that end-customers are well-armed with information about diamonds and are looking for reassurance about what they are being offered. They require that part of the jewelry retailer's service today be providing honest and highly accurate information on the spot. Clearly, some consumers are checking that the stones are not conflict diamonds, but they also want to be shown that the gems are exactly what they are c laimed to be," said Udi Lederer, Sarin's VP Marketing.%%"The resolution of jewelry consumer confidence issues re lated to diamond quality on the jewelry retailer's sales counter is crucial. Our state-of-the-art technology provides simple-to-use solutions, and we have decided to showcase them this year," Lederer added.
