Those in the diamond trade seeking to set up offices at the Almas Tower, the Au Tower, the Ag Tower and the Jewellery & Gemplex can now lease units at these facilities from their owners. The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has permitted the process provided the lessee is a DMCC company. The lessee is not permitted to sub-divide the units.%%The increasing concentration of diamond manufacturers in Dubai, has prompted DMCC to initiate this policy that will allow more diamond manufacturers to set up offices in Dubai. The move also helps maintain the concept of a clustered diamond business within a dedicated infrastructure, states DMCC. Until now units were available through free-hold basis.
