The Solitaire Gemological Laboratories has opened its second laboratory in India at Chennai, the first was set up in Mumbai in November 2007. Both centres are known as the diamond hubs in the country, Chennai reputed for some of the most high quality diamonds.%%The Chennai testing centre is located on T.Nagar and is the only international gem testing lab in the city. The lab services provide professional certification for loose diamonds, colour stones and studded jewellery. After receipt of the products, the lab delivers its certification within two working days from within the Chennai centre itself, without transporting any of the stones or jewellery for testing purposes outside Chennai.
