Comparable store sales (excluding new store openings and closures) were up by 18.2% during August, but 14.4% for the seven-month term. Saks mentioned that the fine jewellery sales helped increase the revenues.
Saks Inc., has reported an increase of 19.9% in its overall revenues for August which valued at $213.5 million, during month end. Also, on a year-to-date basis, the first seven months of 2007 recorded increased revenue of 16.1% valuing at $1,687.2 million, compared to the same period a year ago.
