Jacky Lewy, Director of Diamgem, mentioned that "Christie's has expressed interest in including the diamond in its next auction or the auction preceding Valentine's Day. Other houses are also showing interest."
The diamond is being analysed, cut and polished under the supervision of Natural Diamond Corporation. Diamgem has also made further discoveries of more pink diamonds in the area of the Chapadao kimberlie properties.
Diamgem Inc., is hopeful to receive a good value for the 9.32 carat pink diamond discovered early this year, at its downstream Chapadao kimberlite properties in Brazil.
