GJEPC hosts webinar on MSME scheme benefits of ‘Sambhav’ e- NLAP Phase II

GJEPC, in collaboration with Branch MSME-DI Tura, Meghalaya, Ministry of MSME, Government of India, organised a webinar on March 4, 2022, highlighting the "Sambhav" e-National Level Awareness Programme (e-NLAP) Phase II on the schemes of the Ministry of MSME for existing and potential entrepreneurs.

Attended by 103 participants, the session was moderated by Manish Jivani, Convener MSME, GJEPC, who explained that the main aim of the webinar was to sensitise gem and jewellery exporters about the various MSME scheme benefits, the eligibility criteria, and some important provisions.

Jivani further stated that due to the consistent efforts of GJEPC and the support extended by the Ministry of MSME, the Council was able to enlist the recently concluded IIJS Signature 2022 exhibition and applications of 94 MSME members are approved to avail the exhibition participation benefit of up to Rs.1.5 lakh reimbursement.

Nilesh Trivedi, Assistant Director, MSME-DI, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India, was invited to brief participants about MSME schemes related to Exhibition Participation, Technology Upgradation, Infrastructure, Training & Skill Development.

Trivedi also touched upon DC-MSME schemes like PMEGP, IC Scheme, SFURTI, ASPIRE, 25% PP policy, Export Promotion, PMS, National Award, Skill Development Schemes, Udyam Registration, Champions portal, Self-Employment Schemes, CGTMSE, etc.
