Kalyan Jewellers Establishes Subsidiary in Oman to Expand Business Operations

Kerala-based Kalyan Jewellers recorded a 30 per cent jump in consolidated net 278 crore during the first half of the current as against Rs 214 crore in the year-a period

In late December 2023, Kalyan Jewellers announced the establishment of a subsidiary company in Oman as part of its strategic business expansion. The newly formed subsidiary, named Kalyan Jewellers Procurement SPC, completed its incorporation on December 28, 2023, according to a regulatory filing. The filing stated that the primary objective of creating this step-down subsidiary is to enhance the jewellery business in Oman.

Kalyan Jewellers, headquartered in Kerala, experienced a significant 30% surge in consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 278 crore in the first half of the current fiscal year, compared to Rs 214 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. With a presence in 209 showrooms across India and the Middle East, Kalyan Jewellers continues to strengthen its position in the jewellery market.
