Thangamayil Jewellery Ltd., a prominent player in the small-cap gems and jewellery sector, has caught the attention of investors with its recent financial disclosures. The latest financial report, released for the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2023-24 on Monday, showcases the company's resilience amid challenging market conditions. While there was a slight dip in net profit, Thangamayil Jewellery Ltd. has impressed shareholders by announcing a substantial dividend payout.

In a move to reward its investors, the Board of Directors of Thangamayil Jewellery recommended a generous dividend of 60% per share. This translates to Rs 6 per equity share, based on the face value of Rs 10 each, for the fiscal year 2023-24. This announcement follows an interim dividend of Rs 4 per share paid in February 2024, bringing the total dividend for the year to Rs 10 per share. This represents a remarkable 100% payout on the face value of the shares.

The final dividend proposal is now pending approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for July 25, 2024. Upon approval, the dividend payment will be dispatched within 30 days post-AGM, providing shareholders with a tangible return on their investment in Thangamayil Jewellery Ltd.
