The GJEPC delegation recently visited Panama to assess market needs, identify business opportunities, and network with industry associations and leading companies. The aim is to solidify India’s presence in the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region’s gems and jewellery sector and encourage greater participation in international trade events.

During the visit, Dr. Sumit Seth, the Indian Ambassador to Panama, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of strengthening economic ties between India and Panama. He highlighted the shared goals of increased trade and collaboration. The event, organized by the Embassy in collaboration with GJEPC, underscored the joint efforts to boost bilateral trade in the gems and jewellery sector.

A networking dinner followed, where Indian and Panamanian companies explored avenues to enhance trade. This event provided an invaluable opportunity for delegates to forge new connections and discuss potential collaborations with leading Panamanian companies.
