DMCC has set a new global benchmark with the unveiling of the world’s largest silver bar, a 1,971kg asset officially certified by Guinness World Records. Presented at the Dubai Precious Metals Conference (DPMC), the bar pays tribute to the UAE's founding year, reflecting the nation’s legacy of ambition, technical excellence and continuous innovation in bullion manufacturing.

In a move that positions Dubai at the forefront of digital transformation in the precious metals trade, DMCC announced that the bar will be tokenised through its Tradeflow platform. This marks the first instance of a Guinness-recognised precious metal being digitised under a regulated framework, unlocking new pathways for secure, transparent and fractionalised ownership.

The project brings together key UAE-based and global industry players. Sam Precious Metals led the production of the record-breaking bar; Tokinvest, a VARA-regulated digital assets platform, will manage the tokenisation and issuance; and Brink’s will oversee secure storage and logistics, ensuring full chain-of-custody integrity.
