DITP and GIT announced the 73rd Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair, to be held February 22–26, 2026 in Bangkok, with expanded exhibition space and trade value projected to exceed $ 150 million.
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), in association with the Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand (GIT), announced the 73rd edition of the Bangkok Gems and Jewelry Fair at a press conference on January 22, 2026.
The fair will be held from February 22–26, 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok. Organisers stated that the event is expected to generate trade value exceeding $ 150 million.
Sunanta Kangvalkulkij, Director-General of DITP, said the fair has played a major role in strengthening Thailand’s gems and jewellery exports.
“During the first 11 months of 2025, after deducting re-export values, exports in this category reached $ 12.124 billion, representing growth of over 53 percent,” she said.
To accommodate demand from domestic and international exhibitors, the organisers have expanded the exhibition area to include the Plenary Hall on Level 1. This expansion allows space for more than 200 additional booths.
The 73rd edition will feature over 1,300 companies and more than 2,800 booths from over 20 countries. The fair is expected to attract more than 45,000 visitors.
Boonyarit Kalayanamit of GIT said, “More than 80 percent of exhibitors at the fair are Thai manufacturers offering comprehensive OEM and ODM services, which is a key highlight of the fair.”
The opening ceremony will be presided over by Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya. A special exhibition will showcase jewellery designs created under her vision and crafted by Thai master artisans.
