QWEEN appoints Dalziel & Pow for India store design

QWEEN has partnered London-based Dalziel & Pow to design new retail stores in Bangalore and Delhi, aiming to reshape jewellery shopping through experiential formats, with the first launches scheduled March 2026.

QWEEN has partnered London-based global design and strategy studio Dalziel & Pow to design its upcoming jewellery retail stores in Bangalore and Delhi. The partnership marks Dalziel & Pow’s first jewellery retail project in India.

Under the agreement, Dalziel & Pow has conceptualised retail formats for QWEEN’s stores, each spanning between 5,000 and 6,000 sq. ft. The stores are scheduled to open in March 2026 in Bangalore and Delhi.

Amit Kumar of QWEEN said the company wanted to move beyond traditional jewellery retail layouts. “The jewellery industry, while celebrated, had settled into a comfortable predictability and remained stuck behind glass counters. And we wanted to change that,” he said.

Dalziel & Pow will work with QWEEN to translate its retail philosophy into physical store environments. Tim Gravelling of Dalziel & Pow said the project focused on changing how consumers interact with jewellery. “They wanted to change how the jewellery retail culture was built around intimidation, occasion, and inherited rules rather than personal choice,” he said.

The stores will stock more than 3,000 SKUs across over 20 collections, made using 100% natural gemstones and diamonds. Merchandise will be organised to allow customers to shop by mood rather than only by metal.

QWEEN has appointed Four Dimensions as its Indian retail design and execution partner. Shyam Sunder K of Four Dimensions said the firm would deliver Dalziel & Pow’s global design concepts through locally executed retail environments.
