DE BEERS LV will open an exclusive diamond jewelry retail shop in India and expand its already existing Nakshatra range. %% The first De Beers store opened in London as a result of a strategic review in 1999 and has since expanded to other cities around the world, including New York, Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, Tokyo, and Paris. %% On the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, De Beers' director Jonathan Oppenheimer told that the company already has a 50:50 joint venture with LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton to retail exclusive diamond jewelry in six countries.%% "We will also expand the Nakshatra constellation of diamond jewelry, which we launched in India a few years ago under a partnership with our sight holders. Aishwarya Rai was signed up as the brand ambassador for this range," Oppenheimer said. %% "India is an important market for us and we will continue to expand in that market," he added.
