Senco Gold Limited reported consolidated revenue of Rs 3,056 crore for Q1 FY27, up 67% year on year, supported by retail growth, festive demand and summer wedding purchases. The company announced its results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

Retail sales increased 50% year on year to Rs 2,651.5 crore, while same-store sales growth stood at 39%. The company said demand was supported by Poila Boishakh, Akshaya Tritiya, Baisakhi, Bihu and the summer wedding season.

Senco said average gold prices increased approximately 61% year on year during the quarter. Demand was also affected by the rise in customs duty from 6% to 15% and subdued consumer sentiment. The company said old-gold exchange accounted for 43% of sales quantity during the period.

Diamond jewellery sales grew 43% year on year, while volumes increased 18%. The company attributed the growth to demand in the sub-Rs 50,000 segment, its Everlite collection, wider 9K and 14K assortments and new designs.

Consolidated EBITDA rose 16% to Rs 213 crore, although EBITDA margin declined to 7% from 10.1% a year earlier. PAT stood at Rs 101 crore, down 3% year on year, with a margin of 3.3%.

Senco added eight net showrooms during Q1, taking its network from 201 stores at March 31 to 209 at June 30. The company plans to add another 12–15 showrooms during the remainder of FY27, with a focus on franchise-led expansion and Tier-II and Tier-III cities.

Suvankar Sen, Managing Director and CEO, Senco Gold, said the company remains focused on lightweight jewellery, affordability, design innovation, store productivity and inventory optimisation. It is targeting more than 20% value growth in FY27.

Group CFO and Head IR Sanjay Banka said the company remains committed to an EBITDA margin of 7.5%-7.8% and a sustainable PAT margin of 4%-4.5%.
