Surat Special Economic Zone looks at 20% increase in export targets

The SEZ is looking at exports worth Rs.18,000 crore for 2009-10

Collections from the jewellery line ‘Jewels by Queenie’ were recently exhibited in Dubai. Designer Queenie Dhody has themed her jewellery around elegance and luxury, yet in a contemporary manner. “We wish to offer our clients the opportunity of choosing handcrafted, traditional or contemporary style jewellery. Our style mainly focuses on Art Deco and is yet very contemporary”, she said.%%The collection has so far been exhibited in the Kuwait, Damascus, USA, Malaysia Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai. “Beauty, rarity, durability, desirability and price are what we basically look for in jewellery”, the designer stated. ‘Jewels by Queenie’ was launched in September 2003 and has since been appreciated across the corporate and glamour circles worldwide.
