Dassani Brothers’ new Polki capsule blends traditional elephant symbolism with uncut diamonds, emeralds, pearls and vibrant colourstones.
Dassani Brothers has introduced Aagam, a new Polki jewellery capsule that reinterprets the elephant motif through uncut diamonds, carved emeralds, pearls and vibrant colourstones. Timed to the festive season and Ganesh Chaturthi, the collection draws on the elephant’s associations with wisdom, strength, protection and good fortune.
Crafted in 14kt gold, Aagam spans statement jewellery and more wearable designs. The Elephant Guard Necklace Set combines multi-strand pearls with a crescent-shaped pendant featuring uncut Polki diamond elephant figures, accented with rubies and emeralds. The Carved Emerald Elephant Brooch pairs carved emeralds with tanzanites, diamonds and uncut Polki, while the Trunk Coil Ring takes a more abstract approach, using a tanzanite coil, ruby centre and Polki diamonds to evoke the form of an elephant’s trunk.
The collection also includes the Elephant Charm Bracelet, a more understated everyday piece featuring a blue enamel elephant charm, a ruby-set hamsa and Polki detailing.
According to Amit Dassani, Partner, Dassani Brothers, the collection was conceived to give the traditional symbolism of the elephant a contemporary interpretation, with colour, scale and form used to give each piece its own character while retaining the house’s focus on craftsmanship and heritage.
With Aagam, Dassani Brothers brings a familiar Indian motif into a contemporary Polki design language, positioning the collection as jewellery that extends beyond festive dressing into more personal, everyday expressions.
