Bespoke diamond jewellery brand Mavitrra has launched a Ganpati-inspired fine jewellery collection for Ganesh Chaturthi, translating the symbolism of Lord Ganesha into a contemporary jewellery language. The collection celebrates Ganesha as a symbol of wisdom, prosperity, auspicious beginnings and the removal of obstacles.

The edit features statement bangles, earrings and necklaces, combining sculptural forms, intricate goldwork and diamond and gemstone detailing. Among the key designs is a statement bangle featuring a sculptural Ganpati face with emerald ears, a ruby tilak and pavé-diamond detailing.

Other pieces take a more abstract approach to the motif, including interpretations of the Ganpati trunk and lotus, as well as a minimal Ganpati profile framed within a diamond halo. The collection also draws from the architectural language of Indian temples, incorporating woven gold bands, pavé edges, ruby and emerald accents and openwork inspired by temple arches.

Designed across different levels of expression, the collection ranges from statement pieces for festive occasions to understated silhouettes that can be paired with both contemporary and traditional ensembles. Diamonds provide the collection’s signature brilliance, while emeralds and rubies add colour and a festive character.
