The jewellery retailer launched a flagship campaign featuring actor Sonali Bendre, highlighting its mangalsutra and traditional jewellery collections and positioning jewellery as an heirloom.
Pune-based jewellery retailer P N Gadgil & Sons (PNGS) appointed actor Sonali Bendre as its brand ambassador and launched a flagship campaign on May 8, 2026, featuring its mangalsutra and traditional jewellery collections.
The campaign focuses on the cultural and emotional significance of jewellery, positioning it as an heirloom associated with family traditions, personal milestones and relationships. It also seeks to connect with younger consumers while retaining the brand’s emphasis on traditional gold jewellery.
Aditya Modak, CFO and COO, P N Gadgil & Sons, said, “At PNGS, every piece of jewellery we create carries the weight of trust — trust built over 192+ years with millions of Indian families. Welcoming Sonali Bendre as our brand ambassador is a natural extension of that promise. She embodies the grace, strength and cultural pride that define the women who wear our jewellery.”
Bendre said jewellery represents identity, memories and relationships passed down through generations. She added that the brand’s understanding of jewellery’s cultural significance drew her to the association.
Founded in 1832, P N Gadgil & Sons is headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, and operates a retail network across India. The company has a strong presence in Maharashtra, with more than 33 stores, along with outlets in Vadodara, Gujarat, and Kalaburagi, Karnataka.
Through the campaign, the retailer aims to reinforce its positioning in traditional gold jewellery while engaging a new generation of consumers through its core brand identity.
