The Lakme Fashion Week - Spring Summer 2008, which began last week, was an attractive platform for the Gitanjali group, to promote its brand. The group sponsored the inaugural show featuring a Neeta Lulla collection of western and Indian wear. The models demonstrated diamond jewellery, designed by Italian jewellery designer Stefan Hafner for Gitanjali Lifestyle a luxury and retail arm of the group. %% According to Gitanjali group chairman Mehul Choksi, “The association with Lakme Fashion Week gives us a head start to project our company as a fashion house and helps us position Gitanjali Lifestyle as a platform for India’s finest jewellery and lifestyle brands.”
