To mark the millionth piece of its 42-inch Ambilight FlatTV brand, Philips has studded this one piece with 2250 diamonds weighing 225 carats, arranged in a floral pattern along the edge of the television’s frame. Philips does not intend to commercially sell the piece but will display it at various events across the globe and auction it in a charity during end-2007. This one unique piece is created along with a New York-based jewellery company A.Link.
