Import duty on gold jewellery hiked to 15%

The move comes after the government increased customs duty on gold, silver and platinum to 10 per cent through successive revisions.

Reports add that the deisgner has been inspired by the films of Bollywood and the landscapes in Bali, to draw out a collection in bold colours interwoven with natural material picked up from India. %% The jewellery collection includes the signature Lindsay Colbus chain links. The Lindsay Colbus collections are targetted for both everyday wear and occasional wear and are retailed at speciality stores and through the internet. The range delivers eclectic accessories with design inspirations from across the globe.
