Day 3: Gold continues to rule the marquee at IIJS Signature

A design for gold plating the Tata Group’s smallest car – the ‘Nano’ has been finaliosed and was launched in Bangalore recently at a ceremony. When Titan Industries’ retail jewellery arm ‘Goldplus’ conceptualised the initiative of gold plating the Nano to celebrate 5000th anniversary of Indian jewellery, it had invited designers to present their concepts, from which Titan selected the award winning design. %% The design will be dressed onto the Tata Nano car in pure gold and at Titan’s manufacturing plant in Hosur, reports say. The car will be available at the where Goldplus retail chain markets. The car value is expected to cross a few crore rupees.
