ORHOPA fine jewellery and watch show got underway on September 17, at the Villepinte’s Exhibition Park in Paris. The flow of visitors on the first day was moderate at first, but picked up later in the afternoon. Last year, the show attracted around 3,756 visitors over the course of three days.%%Orhopa, which is only in its second year, featured around 180 exhibitors, which was far lower than the expected figure of 210. Around 25 per cent of the exhibitors are from Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, while Great Britain, Asia and Italy are equally well represented. The 11,400 sq m of floor space is divided into four main categories: jewellery and luxury jewellery, clocks and watches, technical industries and press & institutions.%%The day also featured live events and competitions, and concluded with a cocktail session hosted by the organisers.
