Before the Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS) takes place from December 22 to 25, 2012, organisers of the event organised an exhibitors’ meeting, to interact on the offerings of the Show. Over 200 exhibitors at Hotel Bella Casa in Jaipur attended the meeting, on November 20. The JJS Convenor, Vimal Chand Surana presented the opening speech for the delegates. He informed that 465 booths have been booked and 106 are in waiting this year, which is highest ever. He expressed gratitude to Rashmibhai, exhibitors, top gem and jewellery organisations, visitors and vendors, for the show. %% Secretary of JJS, Rajiv Jain informed about certain details such as Gemfields CEO Sean Gilbertson will attend the show as Chief Guest. Jain also shared aspects of security, booths, seminars, entry, networking, registration and food to be expected at the Show. He also informed that the JJS is organising an awards function in collaboration with Indian Jeweller magazine on December 22, which is expected to attract top retailers of the country. %% Conducting the event, Joint Secratary Ajay Kala introduced the team to the exhibitors and informed that GIA, Rapaport and NID will deliver three seminars, during the show. He also mentioned the number of visitors expected to be around 30,000 this year. %% Kala added that the December Show now is being branded as ‘A Complete Show for Gem and Jewellery’. The meeting also held the presence of Dinesh Khatoria, Kamal Kothari and Ashok Singhi on the dais. %%
