UBM India is organising its first Kolkata Jewellery & Gem Fair, a three-day business-to-business jewellery event scheduled for January 11 to 13, 2014. According to UBM, this trade fair is the first international business-to-business jewellery exhibition in East India and it will provide an ideal platform for buyers from all over the country and the gem and jewellery industry of east India. Organisers are expecting approximately 6,000 buyers to attend the fair and 160 exhibitors to participate. The fair will be held at the Milan Mela Exhibition Complex at Science City, Kolkata and serve as a platform for domestic and international exhibitors to showcase signature designs, craftsmanship and the best of their creations. The inaugural show will feature ‘The Golden Hand Award’ by UBM India.
