India and the new Bharat Diamond Bourse are marking their arrival on the world diamond trade’s stage by hosting the President’s Meeting at the legendary Hotel Taj Palace and Towers in Mumbai on November 13, 14 and 15, 2005. This is the first time that this prestigious event is being held in India.
The gathering brings together leaders of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) and the International Diamond Manufacturers Association (IDMA). Anoop Mehta, president of the Bharat Diamond Bourse, noted that this is a key decision-making forum. It falls between biannual world diamond congresses.
India’s Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council is co-hosting the President’s Meeting.
