The International Institute of Gemology (IIG), a global leader in gem and jewellery education, celebrated the remarkable success of its students at the National Jewellery Awards (NJA) 2025. Four IIG talents—Pratibha Sheshagiri, Priyanshi Chaudhary, Siddhi Lokhande, and Ujjwal Adeshara—emerged victorious at one of India’s most prestigious platforms for jewellery design and innovation, reflecting the institute’s commitment to mentorship, education, and opportunity.

Rahul Desai, CEO & MD of IIG, said, “NJA makes dreams come true by creating an equal platform where creativity is celebrated without boundaries. Every IIG student, from their first sketch to their hundredth creation, deserves recognition that authentically reflects their journey.” He added that IIG has evolved from a gemology institute into a complete ecosystem for learning and leadership, focusing not just on skills but on cultivating mindsets, confidence, and the ability to present vision boldly.

As an Education Partner of NJA for seven consecutive years, IIG has consistently worked to identify, nurture, and showcase emerging talent in the jewellery industry. The institute’s philosophy of equal access is further reinforced through a dedicated Scholarship Program at NJA, providing lakhs of rupees in support to students from diverse backgrounds.

Gunjan Sapra, COO and Head of Department at IIG, remarked, “Recognition should never be limited by geography or circumstance. NJA places every student on the same stage, giving them equal opportunity—this is both humbling and inspiring.

The NJA victories of Pratibha, Priyanshi, Siddhi, and Ujjwal underscore this vision. Their success reflects not only technical mastery, but also resilience, creativity, and the courage to present their work on a national stage. Desai emphasized, “Knowing how to design is one thing. Knowing how to present your vision with boldness is where true success lies. At IIG, we mentor not just skills, but confidence. That is what transforms a student into a leader, and a dream into a reality.

Founded in 1965, IIG has grown into a world-class center of gemology and jewellery education, shaping over 1,00,000 professionals who influence the national and international gems and jewellery markets. The institute continues to uphold its legacy of integrity, innovation, and academic rigor, ensuring that talent—wherever it emerges—has the platform to shine.

The NJA 2025 stage was a testament to the institute’s vision: with the right ecosystem, talent thrives, creativity is celebrated, and dreams transform into enduring creations.
