The 23rd edition of the Jaipur Jewellery Show, also known as the December Show, is all set to take place at the Novotel Jaipur Convention Centre between December 19, 2025, and December 22, 2025. As always, an enthusiastic response is expected from the attendees. Preparations are on to make sure the show ends up as a successful event.

In this context, a promotional roadshow, ‘JJS Synergy’, was organized in Chennai at Hotel Taj Coromandel on October 4, 2025, with prominent jewellers  from the city attending the event. Also in attendance were  Jayanthilal Challani, President of The Jewellers & Diamond Traders Association, Madras (MJDTA), and Sultan Mohideen H, President of the Chennai Jewellers Association (CJA).

The Honorary Secretary of JJS, Rajiv Jain, gave a detailed presentation about the upcoming show, describing what visitors and buyers can expect at the event this year. In his presentation, Jain talked about why the city of Jaipur is the choice for this event, adding that Jaipur has a rich tradition of making exquisite jewellery using colourful gemstones.

Talking about the history of JJS, he said that the show has come a long way from when it was launched in 2003 with 67 booths, to now having  1200+ booths. “Each year, as many as 40,000 visitors, as well as international traders, visit the show, and participate in it. This year, we are expecting more than 45,000 visitors; there will be more than 1250 booths. JJS is a one-of-a-kind show, aimed at both B2B and B2C segments,” Jain said.

New layout this year

This time around, the show has been thoughtfully segmented to enhance the buyer experience, offering dedicated sections for focused purchasing. The layout has been completely revamped, giving the event a fresh look and feel.

Here is what is changing:

  • Hall 1 will now be dedicated exclusively to jewellery, creating a seamless experience for buyers looking for the finest in design and craftsmanship.

  • Hall 2 will feature silver jewellery and loose gemstones.

  • The ever-growing Pink Club — a curated B2B section within Hall 2 — will become a key hub for trade professionals and serious buyers.

  • There will be a separate section for gold jewellery.

The new layout will not only enhance product visibility, but will also allow better navigation and focused exploration across both halls. Talking about the new look, Jain said, “This year, we have reimagined the JJS layout to give our buyers a richer, more immersive experience. From a jewellery-first approach in Hall 1, to a sharper focus on gemstones and silver in Hall 2, everything is designed to create better connections and business opportunities."

Jain added that December is the perfect time to host the show, as the weather is conducive to hosting an event of this magnitude. “We are here in Chennai, and are having a one-to-one with the city’s jewellers. We want to inform you that this is the right show for buying jewellery if you have earmarked November or December for making your purchases.

“We will also be hosting the JJS Design Award Show on the evening of December 19, the first day of the show. On the second evening of the show, there will be a networking dinner, and lots of entertainment. Besides, there will be an award for the best booth design. In order to encourage new talent, we will be providing booths free of cost to budding designers.”

With the jewellery sector facing a turbulent time in view of high gold prices, Trump tariffs, and an overall atmosphere of uncertainty, JJS 2025 promises to be a silver lining, set to brighten the entire industry.
