Angara Launches ‘Angara Man’, Its First Men’s Fine Jewellery Line in India Ahead of International Men’s Day

Angara, the global fine jewellery brand known for its coloured gemstones and made-to-order craftsmanship, has debuted its first men’s fine jewellery line for the Indian market — Angara Man. The launch follows the brand’s successful entry into India earlier this year and arrives just in time for International Men’s Day and the peak wedding-gifting season.

For jewellery retailers and trade stakeholders, the unveiling of Angara Man signals a growing, high-potential category: everyday fine jewellery for the modern Indian man. As male consumers increasingly embrace jewellery as an expression of personal style, demand is shifting from occasional-wear pieces to daily-wear, design-driven formats.

Handcrafted, Customisable and Gemstone-Led

The collection spans sculptural signets, modern bands, minimalist tag pendants, bracelets and cuffs — each handcrafted to order and fully customisable. Customers can choose their preferred metal purity (14 ct or 18 ct), gold colour (yellow, white, rose), gemstone, finish and engraving. BIS hallmarking and optional independent lab certification further reinforce trust and transparency — a key consideration for both retailers and digital buyers.

The line marks the beginning of a phased rollout, with additional designs scheduled for upcoming drops.

Market Insight: Men’s Jewellery as Self-Expression

Commenting on the launch, Ankur Daga, Founder & CEO, Angara, noted that the Indian male consumer is evolving rapidly.
“In India, men have always worn jewellery, but the intent has changed. It is no longer ornamental; it is expressive… With Angara Man, we wanted to bring that same sense of personal style into fine jewellery,” he said.

The brand is positioning the collection to appeal to actors, creators, athletes and young urban professionals who view jewellery the way they view watches — as an extension of identity rather than an accessory reserved for formal occasions.

P1 Capsule: Motorsport-Inspired Precision

At the centre of this debut is the P1 Capsule, inspired by motorsport’s Position 1. Clean lines, engineered detailing and bold diamond-pavé options define the aesthetic — crafted for consumers who prioritise performance-driven design and contemporary masculinity.

Gemstones Take the Spotlight

Consistent with Angara’s global identity, the men’s line places strong emphasis on coloured gemstones, featuring tiger’s eye, onyx, lapis, turquoise, malachite, sapphires, rubies and diamonds. This positions the brand to tap into India’s rising appetite for statement gemstone pieces among men.

Upcoming Drops and Retail Potential

The next phase of Angara Man — including Medallions, Tag Pendants, Bracelets and Cuffs — will go live soon, expanding the offering for Q4 and early 2026. Retailers and manufacturers can expect sustained interest across gifting, self-purchase and wedding-related segments.
