West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC), a Government of West Bengal Undertaking, is proposing to develop Phase II of Manikanchan in Kolkata. This is the gems and jewellery SEZ spread over 4,00,000 sq.ft. (approx) of built-up space. Carrying its intent forward, WBIDC is inviting sealed proposals from those keen on setting up diamond processing units, units of gold, platinum and other jewellery, over a minimum 100000 sq.ft. built up space of the Manikanchan Phase II, Special Economic Zone, Kolkata.
